I had my first experiences at the Bluebird Cafe last night. I had a nice spot at the end of the bar where Martha, the bartender, kept me refreshed with beer glass sized Jack and Cokes. The Blue Bird was tiny and intimate. It was almost impossible to have a bad seat in there. Jamie Spencer and his buddies sat in the middle of the room and played their original songs. They were amazing and the entire night there was incredible.
Afterwards, Jamie, the Harrison brothers and Bridgette Tatum went down to Jonathan’s in Cool Springs and continued the party. Bridgette ate the most interesting combination of food and drink, straight tequila with veggies…mmmmm.
